Anita Gadsden, SVP, Operations, NAAAHR SC Low Country Chapter


  Anita Gadsden – SVP Operations

Anita Gadsden is the Operations Manager at the College of Charleston’s North Campus.  She earned a Master of Arts in Human Resources Development from Webster University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the College of Charleston. 

Anita has 10 years of experience in management, training, and development.  In her role at the College she coordinates all aspects of talent acquisition and management for the School of Professional Studies and directs facility operations for the entire North Campus.  She is a former member of the President’s Commission on Diversity, Access, Equity & Inclusion and actively participates in all diversity related efforts of the College and the community. In addition, she is a founding board member of the College of Charleston Black Alumni Council where she currently holds the office of Vice-President on the Board of Directors. 

Ms. Gadsden is an advocate for access to higher learning and special education opportunities for all members of her community regardless of race, gender, religion, and socio-economic status.  She frequently volunteers her time and resources to mentor at-risk school children and college students as well as offering support to their parents.
