Jessica Hobson currently serves as Adjunct Faculty and Cooperative Education Specialist at Point Park University. In this role, she is responsible for providing intellectual and programmatic leadership for all aspects of the Cooperative Education (Co-op) Program including strategic development, brand management, program growth/expansion efforts, leadership development, and employer relations/student engagement initiatives.
As an Adjunct Faculty member, Jessica is responsible for designing and delivering curriculum aligned with career readiness and leadership development. Prior to joining Point Park University, Jessica served in a variety of Human Resources related positions at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC).
As an Employment Specialist on the University Relations and Workforce Development team, Jessica was responsible for implementing and managing recruitment efforts in order to enhance pipelining opportunities, maintain relationships with strategic partners, and recruit top talent to meaningful opportunities. Jessica also served as an Engagement & Inclusion Consultant at UPMC. In this capacity, she was responsible for developing and implementing community engagement strategies, designing cultural competency curriculum, delivering educational workshops, managing a charitable giving initiative, and implementing strategies that advance cultural competency, health literacy, and employee engagement.
Jessica holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management & Technology from Carlow University, as well as a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Point Park University.
