Larry C. Gibson
SVP, Chapter Development & Compliance

Larry C. Gibson is currently Senior Executive Recruiter for The Lead Executive Group. A new start-up Executive Search Firm based out of Charlotte, NC. Mr. Gibson has over fifteen years of combined operations, recruiting, management and training experience. He started his career in 1991 with Gibson Courier Service Inc. The first African American Armored Car Company in the country started by his grandfather in the 1970s. Larry’s contributions and innovation pushed the company and his career into rapid over drive. In 1993 he was promoted to Operations Manager making him responsible for 40 plus armed and unarmed employees. In 1994 Larry worked with Human Resources to create and implement new recruiting and hiring strategies that attracted Top Performing Sr. Level Talent. This immediately made the organization more competitive and help position the company to take on larger Blue Chip Clients like Time Warner , Entenmann’s Bakery and Home Depot just to name a few. His contributions also assisted the organization reach a major milestone, 1.2 million dollars in annual sales. Larry co-created policy and procedure manuals, employee training programs and created solutions to enable the workforce to provide exceptional service to current and new accounts.

In 1997 he was promoted to VP of Operations in charge of operations, sales and security. Larry assisted in contract negotiations for new business and renegotiated contracts with current clients including Fortunoff’s, New York State Department of Motor Vehicle, Cablevision and a number of others. With his love for recruiting and working with Sr. Level Executives. When Larry left the company in 2000 he took on a Executive Recruiting role with XIX Dynasty Staffing an Executive Search Firm on Long Island that focused on Senior Level positions in manufacturing and high tech engineering companies. He developed successful recruitment strategies based on relationship building and utilized Career Education to source passive top performers.

Determined to address this problem he partnered with one of the leading HR Experts in the country. Together in 2002 they started Career Expert Network LLC. For the past thirteen years he has provided Sr. Level Professionals with the tools, strategies and consultation needed to be more competitive in the job market. Larry has developed a proven strategy using Career Education and Relationship Building to get top performing passive candidates in his network. This strategy has helped him develop a national network of over 10,000 senior level professional that feed hiring pipelines in the areas of Finance, HR and IT. His current focus is to utilize his many years of experience and his ability to attract Sr. Level Top Performers through The Lead Executive Group.
